Hunted 2 local city parks TODAY, both of which I have hunted several times in the past. Found 121 total coins which included 38 quarters, 48 dimes, 2 nickels & 33 cents (2 which were "wheat" cents). The "face value" $total was $14.73 and was ALL clad except the 1951 SILVER (no mint mark) Washington Quarter. I was HAPPY:icon_thumleft: with that. Good Luck Everyone & Happy Hunting.

Nice find Bill. I never noticed until now how long Washington's neck is.:icon_scratch: Gary
Hey, Gary - Thanks for your comment -- Yes and I guess he was trying to hide it with his "pony tail". My older brother in his later years never cut his hair and wore a long braid down his back while living in New Mexico. However our family were all born & raised in Illinois (Peoria/Knox/Fulton county areas) and when I started metal detecting in 1971 I remember finding a lot of Indian Head cents in the large park in Mattoon, Illinois near YOU; and they all came out of the ground "so beautiful" -- Have you ever hunted that area? Thanks & Happy Hunting.......BILL
