I AM BEYOND ECSTATIC! Went to a permission that is 1/2 mile from my house, real dense woods. I was just trying to climb through vines and deadwood . I put the detector on the ground to balance myself and beeeep!
This is old hat to most of you but a first for me. The ring and quarters in the same hole. The button a foot away.

Many times I've found coin spills that way or the times you dip your coil under a weedy bush area half hoping to not get a signal cause it's a crappy spot to get into and boom Great post

Well, my bubble was busted today for a ring return. I called the landowner today and found out that they have owned the land since the 20's but never lived there. So I have no idea who the ring would belong to. She did say the name of a family that used to live there and so I will be trying to research that. Any way, the landowner was at least excited to hear about it.

Not going to be able to do a return .Land owners never lived on land. But I will keep searching maybe find something with a name.
