I am still using the CZ 21 on campus cleaning up areas and piling up the clad. Thursday I was there for 3.5 hours and found 86 coins with a face value of $4.23 and the usual tabs, aluminum bottle caps, and assorted junk.

Friday I went to the scout camp and spent 5.5 hours detecting in the rain. I went to a campsite that is used for primitive camping so the finds are a little different form the normal campsites. I did manage 173 coins with a face value of $11.92, 2 pocket knives that are still good, a Ford key, a dead Timex watch, a Sacagawea dollar, a game token and some fishing sinkers.

Today I went back to campus and spent 4 hours swingin away and found 112 coins with a face value of $5.55, a key, a junky earring, an 07 probably from a graduation tassel, a silver locket, a cutwork silver ring, a 1953 D wheat penny and a Canadian dime.

The locket is a beauty it has pictures in it but they are toast. It is marked with an 800 so it was probably made in Italy or Germany. I searched the hole and the dirt for the chain, but it was not there. I m not sure exactly what to call the style. It might be carbochon with ribbons and roses, but I am not sure.

The ring is a cutwork design 925 silver made in Thailand. Another nice piece of jewelry. With all the clad and no jewelry for a while from campus. These 2 were a nice surprise.

All in all a good week. A nice supply of gas money and 2 more silvers for the year. My year detecting year ends ends April 30th so my 27th year is coming rapidly to a close. Thanks for looking and may your coil lead you to good things.
