I went back to campus in the rain today and detected for 4 hours with the CZ21. I detected in the strip between parking lots. No students were on campus so no cars in the way so I could do a clean sweep of a section. I got 107 coins with a face value of $5.83, a GM key, a naked lady token, and a key tag.

The key tag has a number 34 on the front and around the hole is the name P O MOORE INC and GLEN RIDDLE PA. On the back it says DUPLICATE KEY. I found an ad for Moore control system key cabinet from 1939 and info on a trademark paper for PO Moore in Mew York from 1950. But I have no idea exactly when this tag was made.

The novelty token features a naked lady and the words HEADS I WIN and TAILS YOU LOSE. I blacked out naked body parts so hopefully these pictures are ok to post. I have another one just like this one that I eyeballed on a sidewalk about 25 years ago. I guess they are still selling them.

As usual, tabs, aluminum bottle caps, foil, a decent coin count, gas money and a few miscellaneous items to keep things interesting, but no great finds today.
Thanks for looking and may your coil lead you to good things.

College students do seem to lose a lot. I have found over 5,300 coins on campus since September 30, 2018.

Keep swingin.

That token brings back some mammaries.... I mean memories. I got the same token from a token machine at an arcade back in the early 80s. I think it was a peep show token that also fit game machines. Nice find...congrats.

Looks like this is a popular concept in novelty tokens. I wonder if there are other variations out there.

I know some people modified coins as a scatological joke, like the hobo nickels. I do have a large cent with the โ€œONE CENTโ€ modified that I dug 2 years ago. Here are the out of the ground photos.

I have dug 8 of those tokens. They are called "Flipper" tokens for obvious reasons. They started using those as a novelty, instead of using coins for "heads or tails" games.
