With no indication of size, I'll guess charm from a bracelet. Pic of the back and size reference would help. (or, a more knowledgeable ID'er!)

sorry all size approx 2 inches at widest point 1 1/4 inches deep and about 6 grams in weight hope this helps...

possibly a pendant missing a chain it is quite a strong item cant see marks or solder etc on rear from a pin so dont think its off a brooch what age would you put on it Victorian?
