Had a nice half day hunt with a new metal detecting friend. He invited me to meet at a permission he had to do some hunting. I found 6 Wheat pennies, a nice sterling silver ring, a gold plated earring, and an unusual find. A political watch fob for the presidential election of 1908 between William Howard Taft and William Jennings Bryan. The fob is a chicken fob with 1908 and Bryan on it. The fob for Taft, which I don't have, was a possum with 1908 and Taft on it. Taft won the election as we all know and Bryan went down as a
