Just came back from a hunt and got a really nice find! Would have been on my bucket list if I knew it existed before I pulled it from the ground.
(Sorry for the pics. Taking them in the evening after the hunt).

Looked great even straight from the ground.

I believe they were produced in late 1700's early 1800's and are pretty rare to find.

Sometimes just one good find can make my hunt. It was certainly the case today. :headbang:

Great find. Are you sure you live in Canada with all the great US stuff your finding

:laughing7: Yes, pretty sure. Although occasionally I do get some US finds most of my coins and relics are British or Canadian.

You gotta love the surprising finds that come from the ground. Great condition on that early copper, one I've never heard of. Another banner nod here.

That coin is stunning! For a dug copper from that time period this coin is amazing. Add in the rarity. I'm voting banner. Great find congrats!
