Had a particularly nice walk today.

A regular smorgasbord of finds! Spanning a
wide gamut. Kept my interest all day.

0611192043c~2.jpg

Haven't found a hem weight in a very long
time!

0611192043d~2.jpg

A bit of "bling".

0611192043a~2.jpg

Interesting line of coinage.

0611192043b~2.jpg

A couple new rides.

Then....and......of course...
on the way back to the car after a long
day. It happened!!

I got one of those hits that I always look
for...you know the one. On an AT-Pro...
91! In *ALL* directions!!

I know...sometimes its just a solid brass
fitting or bolt. But, it has been soooo long!!!

Just for the fun of it, I did my little dance for
a bit. Where I wander around and around the
target, every angle, height, speed. Just to enjoy
the sound. LOL :tongue3:

When I was sated, I got down to business
of digging. Knowing that it would most likely
just be a disappointment. Still, for the first time
in a long time....I was having *FUN*!!

BUT.....the shock was yet to come!!! This is what
I saw first:

1.jpg

OH MY GOD! Could it finally be!??

Did I finally do it?!

My brain said no, of course not! It
was too shallow, too loud, in a ballfield?!?

Nah!!!!!!

Here's the rest of the story.

2019-06-11-21-23-10.jpg
2019-06-11-17-58-55.jpg
0611192042~2.jpg

All in all....a WONDERFUL walk!

Didn't do it yet...but...wow!!!
I am spent!!

0611191752~2.jpg

I think I'm ready to sleep now, perchance
to dream......

Thanks for peeking!

I feel your pain, Whadi... was out diggin' Sunday in a farm field and popping trash after trash, can slaw, plow parts, tractor pieces and then got my best signal of the day...that 88-89 that sounded O so sweet....and promptly pulled a plain, round, quarter-sized brass disc. UGH....But, I was happy to get that signal, it did pep me up and gave me some extended energy. Token aside, you had an excellent day! Ddf.

lot of people associate those hem weights with dresses - many were used in drapes to keep them from blowing
when you opened your windows - i have found round, square and triangular ones - they go off so nice dont they?

Whadi, I would take a large token any day just to validate digging that cursed-blessed 91 VDI signal. Around these parts, big silver coins were hunted out years ago. With the 91 signal nowadays, my imagination immediately goes to a "Chunky sterling ring!" Like you said, it so often is a section of copper pipe, ugh....You found many cool and interesting goodies. Encouragement for the next walk! Sub 8-)

Very nice array of finds, congrats!

All Blingie has to do is find a "Lauren", all set, he's got her heart already.
Those two are off to the races in their new rides.

And you got your cardio in one felled scoop! I understand why you need a nap.
I haven't seen that particular token. They should not be allow to use gold for anything but actual gold. What it does to the treasure hunter, should be illegal! [emoji1]

I see you have even scored a little coin of the realm...plastic!
Special program on the AT huh.
[emoji57]

Very nice walk!
