On my way to work today, downtown Athens, I took another street than usually. I spotted this army dog tag type chain in a dusty pit of the tarmac and I immediately thought "this looks interesting". It was slimmer than an army cahain and then I saw the clasp, a regular jewelry spring clasp.
So I picked it up (I would do so anyway... I just can't resist this urge, anybody else know that feeling?) and it turned out to be a nice 45cm (~16 inch) long silver chain, all parts stamped, even the clasp has a 925 stamp.

Not a "whopper" but a nice effortless find to start my day off.

Cheers, Happy Hunting

Yes, I know that feeling of seeing, and picking something up ! Nice little find for you. All you had to do was bend down and pick it up. Doesn't get any easier than that.
