The good news is, I found some cool stuff. The Farmer's Insurance thing is a license topper from the late '20s-early '30s.

The silver bracelet is stamped BIGHAND on the back, and Google tells me that is one of a couple of well-known Navajo silversmiths. If anybody can tell me which one, please do.

The aluminum token is only cool to me because it is classic 1970's stuff.

The bad news is... these are the best of what we took out of the yards of two farm yards dating to the1870's and an 1850's

Iron Buzz, that NA silver/turquoise bracelet, found whole and undamaged, is a STUNNING find. Congratulations. There were at least two Bighand artists, Navajo and Sedona. Cheers, Sub

Google shows me EJ or EG (Emma J) Bighand and an Albert Bighand. This just says BIGHAND in capital letters. I can't find any pictures of how either of them stamped their jewelry.

This does have a break in one of the bands, but could be soldered.

scrap.jpg Edit: I just found Emma J's signature. Not at all similar to this one.

You found relics + treasure, so that's worth celebrating. It is interesting how sometimes a high potential site produces such inconsistent finds to that potential!

Congrats to ya on it all mate! :skullflag: :occasion14:

Sorry, I am not seeing any bad news with those finds even though the homes were old. I think that is one nice bracelet, token, and the Farmers License Plate topper is a great relic find.

I'm not complaining, mind you. Just was hoping for period finds.

Three nice finds, both the bracelet & badge are really nice, I would be back there again, maybe the period stuff is deeper, congrats & GL

Neat finds! Sorry to hear there isn’t anything a bit older on those farms. Onto the next I suppose!

Yeah, when I dug it, there were plenty of earworms in the hole.
