Been a L O N G week at work and haven't had time to post..BLAH! :P

Found my first Dick Tracy Ring from the 1940's and my first Pewter Whistle, which I believe it from the mid 1800's...Very Cool! :)

Also a pewter spoon with 'Britannia' on the back of the handle, a knife that reads 'nickle silver', some flat buttons, a 'What's It' that reads 'Clayton Mark & Co.' (think it's a filter of sorts)..

Two beat up IH's (1 is an 1889), a few wheats and a '35 Merc, flat buttons, etc... :D

Using my new Bullseye 5.3" coil to find everything in places I've hunted many times....Awesome!!

Have a great weekend!

Neat Stuff!

"Brittania" is actually the metal your spoon is made of. Similar composition to pewter, but with usually a bit more Tin and less Copper.

Thanks everyone! Whistle works excellent!! :D

The relics came from the circa 1800 house where I found all the Large Cents and Reale...hittin' the woods with my smaller coil. ;)

Neat stuff!

The Dick Tracy ring was a 1940's premium of the Miller Bros. Hat Corp. (See below.) Hake's latest price guide pegs it at $50 in good condition; $115, Fine; $210, near mint.

Love that ring and whistle! It's amazing what you will find with a different coil in places you've already hunted. Way to go!

That is such a great find! I really like the old American memorabilia. I know a guy that found a Little Orphan Annie decoder pin. (You will shoot your eye out kid) ;D
