So Many Yards,and......

I finally got permission to hunt a yard of a 1919 home that belongs to a friend of mine. I offered to give him whatever I dug but he said no,that I could have any treasures. It's a massive property. Duracell will be most happy..lol Weather here is rainy till Sunday so I'll hit it in the afternoon and report back.

Thanx Rod for the offer. I hit the 1919 yard for a couple of hours. Lot's more yard left. So far, eighty five cents in clad and two wheaties(one a '34) Have you had your wheaties today? I'm told where there are wheaties there is silver. I suppose when someone drops silver coinage and is aware they dropped it,it is much easier to find than pennies. Prob. accounts for finding more pennies than anything else? Who knows........

As the old saying goes where there is wheaties there is usually silver. Since you are finding wheats it might not be a bad idea to grid it to make sure you hit all of an area.
