    Dave - Awesome finds as usual. I hope that you might be able to determine a bit more from the silver broach. Summer is here. I know it's been getting hotter and hotter in New England, and your still putting in your time paying your dues toward another big find. I recall it was like 9-degrees out when you scored your last banner find in the winter. Whether it 9-degrees or 90-degrees, you're out there on your next adventure. Congrats and keep them coming!

    Borrowed this from another group, think you may have an 18th century shirt buckle. Shirt Buckles were used either to hold the ends of a neckcloth in place, or to secure the shirt ruffles together. They came in a variety of forms, heart-shaped being popular as seen here.     Thanks and yes you are correct! If you don't get out and try to find something, someone else will beat you to it,is the way I look at it.
