Saw a guy who recommended using speed 8 with the 6” on trashy, both iron square nails and modern trash areas. Well that sounded like my spot, the old Rev Fort and now a forgotten park (land). So I’ve gone the last 5 times with nothing to show for it and it’s a hour away, but I couldn’t sleep and knew I’d be making that trip. I just woke up from yesterday at noon. Lol
All my coins are from the 40’s.

1944 War Nickel IMG_3126.jpg

3 1940’s Wheats IMG_3127.jpg

AND A 1841 HALF DIME!!!!! FULL LIBERTY IMG_3122.jpg IMG_3123.jpg IMG_3116.jpg surprised it wasn’t a -O-.

A 3 ringer!!!! IMG_3124.jpg at this site it means a lot to me.

A Girl Scout pin (thought I was a rare General Service pin until I got home lol) IMG_3125.jpg

What a think is a brass match holder. Has red in the inside. IMG_3128.jpg IMG_3129.jpg

Small brass pin IMG_3130.jpg

More stuff IMG_3131.jpg IMG_3132.jpg IMG_3133.jpg IMG_3134.jpg IMG_3135.jpg

I alway thought the good stuff if any was deep with the iron all being masked by the modern trash on top. Try speed 8 that half dime was only 3” deep!

Nice going! A spot that dense with trash will never be hunted out.

It has 8 large Oaks over 400 years old. Still amazing to go sit the and across the street is a rich subdivision and no one really pays attention. With this new method it could take me years to search it with a 6” lol

I’m game lol IMG_3143.jpg IMG_3144.jpg

Going in a couple of hours if I hit another old coin I know it’s not a fluke. I’d be that sure with this new program.

Holy crap T!! That is amazing. Good to know about your breakthrough. Makes me interested to try some similar things at my well worked sites. Way to keep after it. I love that half Dime!

Highest recovery, small coil in trashy places. Trashy square nail trashy or modern trash or both.

All those finds were worth the drive IMHO.
The 1841 HD is the BOMB , as you know u missed 'Capped Bust' by 4 short years.

Love ..'Really' the Girl Scout pin' I don't come across Girl Scout relics 'that I recall'.

Could the red stuff be from the Match Tip's ?

Think I stated to you or another 'Netter' I have not found a war Nickle in 4 or so years , but cleaning some coins I found (at some point in the last 3 years . I found a well worn one , heck I was happy with that.
$
The Minnie from a historic site is ' Butta'.

Keep it up , cooler temps should be on the way but I hear they are walking from N Canada. LOL So it could be awhile esp, down there in LA Gator Country .
Peace Bro.

Thanks Davers I lasted a hour today and just couldn’t do it. It’s early morning or nothing.
