At a 1940's house today with a friend I had a first. A 7 coin pocket spill with 5 different types of coins.

2 1910 wheat pennies, a 1903 indian head, a 1926 and 1927 mercury dime and a 1909 barber dime along with a no date buffalo nickel.

I didn't realize the indian head was there until I got it cleaned up a little bit.

The spill 12-37 on the ctx and was not real crisp. Kind of funny sounding. The first coin out was the nickel which normal reads 12-12. That puzzled me at first until the pinpointer kept beeping everywhere in the hole!

Great spill! Once that first old coin comes out and the hole is still giving off signal it’s a good feeling.

Looks like it may have been a 1929 to 1930 (during the BIG depression) pocket spill which would have been a lot of money back then - ALSO if the 1926 & 1927 mercury dimes have mint marks "D or S" those are better dates - Thanks for sharing.....BILL

Great older spill!
I dug one recently that was three nickels, 1938s, 40d and 49d along with two wheats and a 1946 dime.
The nickels really throw you off if you are not paying attention.

Hope you have some mint marks on the mercs, grats and thanks for posting.
