Nice find on the old dog tag. That's definitely one of the oldest I've seen. Congrats!

Thatโ€™s a cool tag! Most likely worth a few bones too.

Thanks, I really have no clue what people would even pay for something like this. The house was built it the 1800โ€™s, and I researched the family history. We purchased the land 20 years ago. I donโ€™t think itโ€™s ever been hunted by anyone besides my son and I and we only hunted it 3 times. Iโ€™m waiting to hit it hard in the fall when the weeds die back.

Nice find. Iโ€™ve found a couple and Dog tags always fun to find. Wish was a way to research about the dog / owner but havenโ€™t had any luck. Keeping searching that property and good luck.

Some people collect them. Especially the older ones. A friend of mine on here traded one for several silvers a while back.

Nice looking Dog Tag. I always like the tags or tokens with the scalloped edge design.
