Hey everyone,
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone would have some input for me on some rock that I have found, that I think might possibly be bearing gold. Any info would really help out, as I am kind of new to the whole identifying gold ores..

Thank you! -

The last picture might show a little promise. I would crush and pan it and you may see some color in your pan. Good luck.

What part of the country did it come from? Looks like a volcanic mix, and if so could hold some promise.

Well these replies raise some hope haha. But it comes from south west Montana. Its about 3/4 to a mile and up the hill away from a very old claim that once produced gold and silver. I also have more pictures if anyone is interested..
