I hunted an old 1800s farm today and managed some great relics.
My first oil base
3 patents on the lamp base, July 21, 1863, Dec 10, 1867, and Oct 14, 1862.
Barrel tap. Can anyone tell the age?
Spoon with out the bowl. Can I get a date on this too? Nothing on it to identify it.
3 wheats, 35, and 2 44.
43 cents clad

My guess is that the spoon is early 1800’s. That’s a common early design, sometimes you will find very thin silver spoons with the same design, I found 2 with this design on Saturday. The wick adjuster from your oil lamp has great details. Those are fun to find with pat dates. Congrats!!

sweet finds!! I have found those barrel taps around early 1900 home sites. They usually have what I call a set of mule ears on top that you squeeze together to make it work or drain whatever out of the barrel.
