    Finally Some Ohio Gold

This is my first year prospecting. Gold is a fickle companion in Ohio and it has been a long year learning how to pull some of the shiny stuff out of ohio rivers. I seperated some of my concentrate this weekend and out popped a few yellow specks.

Very cool My father and I did some panning in SW Ohio back in the 1970s. After several hours we found a few flakes. Decided to go back to metal detecting.
