Yeah man! Yes, I was just walking along the beach looking for shark teeth and I saw it under a tree, I couldn't believe it because megs are extremely rare around here.

It's insane to think how big these sharks were... you're right about the movie. True, that's awesome.

Nice man. Yeah, same for me, Dorian took a lot of gravel and shells off the beach, so not as much stuff to look through like there usually is. My best find was probably a cow shark tooth, they are hard to find here, only my 3rd one ever. Tides should be back to normal here by next week.

You are 100% right, but if they try to get it, we will be having a second civil war!!

I know man! It is very well preserved. I think it must've came out of the cliff or clay deposits on the beach. Because I find some teeth, that you can tell they were in the water for a really, really, long time.

The cow shark tooth is a fun find and one of my favorites too. Scarce here too.

Yes - your tooth is fresh out of the clay and has not been out surfing. Teeth like this also don't move very far from the cliff because they are so heavy. The biggest rookie mistake I see is people looking for these on a beach far from the cliffs. They don't move that far away. But the tiny lightweight teeth do move easily.

That's a great find! It makes me thankful however that the megalodon is no longer swimming in our waters!

I found this beautiful specimen on the banks of the York in Virginia! I’ve only been doing this for a little over a year and I’ve found a lot of shark teeth and fossils. BUT, this is definitely my favorite find so far. I’ll be back out there fossil hunting tomorrow!

You do that, get out htere and find another one, a larger one. But this one, too, looks great!
