    More park silver

Went out for a quick hunt this morning with my diggin’ buddy, hit an old silver ring that I attempted to straighten out and what looks like a hair pin thingie marked sterling and of course some of the usual doodads, bits and bobs.

Congrats on the finds. Fyi, you can get a nice little mandrel and hammer kit for straightening rings on eBay for pretty cheap.
There is something truly exhilarating about digging an item of remarkable value out of the ground.

I might just do that, I have quite a few slightly bent rings I’ve dug!

Good stuff, and sweet little ring. I think it will straighten out quite well!

I don’t know yet, I have it soaking. I’m thinking it might be the front to a “ not so old” 2 piece button. It has a little gold plating that had me going for a second.
