Old Horseshoe Help Needed

I found these 2 1/2 horseshoes right around the same spot near the bayou. Can anyone tell me how to clean them up without damaging them further? 20190915_102303.jpg

The top one looks like an ox shoe. As for cleaning......any cleaning will technically do some sort of "damage". If you're looking to remove the rust and then apply something to keep them from further corrosion, there are lots of methods depending on how sound they are to begin with. You might want to look in the Cleaning and Preserving section of Tnet.
