That axe is killer! ..... would look awesome restored with a nice period correct handle on it with some dark stain
I would rather see an authentic broken scraper posted than a G-10 Artifake!

Awesome ! If it was me I would surely have to make a period correct handle for that axe. Maybe out of some extra fancy Curly Maple or Sugar Maple with nice figure to the grain. It deserves only the best.
