    Ben Franklin and some Axes

Got a few hours in at a local 1806 Farmhouse. Found a Benjamin Franklin Souvenir token and a toasted copper. The token is from the Franklin Institute, and I saw a few posts that dates it to around 1930. Also found a large axe head and splitting maul. Click image for larger version.

I found one of those exact Ben Franklin souvenir tokens in the Seattle area 2 years ago. Funny! Nicely done.

Thanks everyone! That is great that you found a Ben Franklin in Seattle. That is certainly a long way from Philly. I wonder how long they made them? I definitely plan on running the axe through electrolysis. Hopefully it will come out nice.
