Hello,
I recently got access to a large property I have been eye balling for years.
It took me HOURS to find a hot spot, but when I did, I got excited.
Second target in the ‘hot spot’ was a wheatie. After a few moment of gridding I popped out a 1950s style silver ring. I stepped up my game at that point. The activity of metal detecting came into focus, and I was in the zone. More wheaties, more wheaties, Canadian wheaties, watch, makeup compact. “Where are the silver coins!?” . Then I was on top of a great signal. 31-31 on the recently updated equinox. I dug a wide and conservative plug. Pin pointer told me it was close. Stab, pull, pop. !!!! Silver quarter rim!!
The place is from the 1910s, and I saw how sharp the edge was. Hoping for a standing quarter or earlier, but was still consoled happily the shiny Washington.
I got a rosie nearby a moment later.
I’ll be back.
