Hey all!

Got out for a little while this morning while my wife hung with her dad.

Tried a few spots I had in mind. It was actually a surprise site that netted me my best finds of the day. Not somewhere that was initially on my mind but I spotted it while traveling between sites.

My top find was a 42-D Merc. I also got 8 Wheats, a 41 nickel and an interesting rabies tag. It’s aluminum so it’s hard to know how old it is, probably not super old.

Thanks for looking. I got permission to a 1903 house I’ve been eyeing for months so I’m excited to see how that pans out this week! Not too many houses that old with much of a yard here in Seattle.

Thanks for looking and good luck out there everyone!

Congrats on the Merc, it's always nice when older silvers pop up.
I've found a few aluminum rabies tags here in the east, most have dated to the late 1940s - 50s.

That is a lot of nice finds! I didn't even get a coin our last time out. My husband got 2 wheat cents and a silver dime at a new park we tried, but I got nothing but junk.

Thank you for the kind words everyone. I appreciate it.

That age makes sense for the area I was in for the rabies tag. Thank you!
