MINER Strikes GOLD!!! TWICE!!! *UPDATE: Weight & PIX***

I had a bit of time after work today to MD. "Should I hit the farm again, or should I hit a park", I said to myself. I went for the park this time, and I'm glad I did. This place has a lake, small beach area, tot lot, and volleyball area. I had tried this place during the summer, but it was way too hot and crowded then. Today I had it all to myself. ;D
Being a sucker for a volleyball area, I hit it first and walked away with a whopping 35 cents and a ring that I first thought was a wedding band. Neat ring, but not silver or gold. It looks like a tiger eye material with a glitter in it.
I then headed to the large tot lot and dug some more clad and a "SPORN" tag. It says "Sporn.com" on the other side. It may be a porn site with mushrooms (spore porn) so I dare not look. :o
After I completed the tot lot, I hit underneath a few picnic benches. BINGO, I dug a small gold ring. Not sure if it is a pinky or toe ring (size 4.5)? It has a letter "B" (Bling?) on the front. Inside it has the following:
"LKM" "375" "2000". Is 375 a 10k or 14k gold?
I was jazzed to find some gold again finally.
Little did I know, I was in for a bigger treat. :o I started MDing the small sandy area by the water, but only found pull-tabs, fishing sinkers, and a few pennies. I then moved up to the small grassy area right next to the sand. After about 20 pull tabs I almost gave up. I'm glad I didn't. I dug a plug, and within that plug I saw the wonderful glimmer of GOLD again!!! Yaba-daba-doo! ;D It was a beautiful decorative wedding band. I could just tell it was the real thing. :D I had no one to high-5, so I did the Tesoro Tango with my Mighty Tesoro.
You can see the "14K" stamp. It looks like there was possible initials inside next to the 14k stamp, but they are worn down too much to read. The size is 6.5.
It has some size to it, so I'll weight it on the scale at work tomorrow.
Sorry for the long-winded post, but I'm still high as a kite. ;D ;D ;D
Have a great week,
MM

Added the weight and a few more pix.

I really like the style of this 14k ring. This ones a keeper.
Thanks for looking.

Very Sweet. Better than finding those old coins? Definitely worth a lot more.

20 pull tabs... I would have quit at about 15. ::)

Ridley and I parted ways. I've gone solo again. ;D
I couldn't do your dancing gibbons dance at my age, so I went for the Tesoro Tango instead. ;D Good luck at your site this week. Bring home more coppa!

Thanks Bob.
I've been hunting at the farm so much and digging up the old CW relics I got excited when I dug up a round sinker. I thought it was a musket ball until I realized where I was detecting. ;D I've also been discriminating out tabs at the farm too, so I could just hunt relics and coins, so today's digging of pull-tabs really tried my patience.

It was a blast hitting a park for a change now that we had a little rain to soften up the soil a bit. I'll never catch your clad count, but I may be able to super-size my meal next time at McDonalds. ;D
Have a great week.

Wow, you found two gold rings in one day, outstanding. And that’s one dandy looking 14k ring.

The ring marked .375 is the European equivalent for 9K, peep the link: http://captaincrank.com/AU/AU.htm.

Thanks for sharing, and my you find more gold on your next hunt.

I guess 9k isn't the best, but I'll take it. I'm glad the larger ring was 14k at least.
Have a great week,

Awesome goldies MM!!!! Really happy to see these great finds from you. Those who work hard at it deserve great days like this. Wooowhooo!!

As Ant said, 9k, .375, 9/24ths pure gold!! It looks like a british hallmark ring. First is the maker mark, then the purity, then the assay place (there's 5), then a letter code for the year of assay. Here's some cool links for you to study to figure out the place and year it had it's assay.

Does the 14k ring have a rose gold inlay? Looks nice!

Congrats!!!!

Wow!

Great golden finds!!!

Sporn.com isn't as bad as you guys think...

Even though they offer leashes, halters, harnesses, and collars ::)

Obviously I wasn't scared to Google it ;D

Think about it... key chains aren't the best way to advertise a porn site ;)

Thanks BDoo. I'll check those out.
There is a flower design in it. I had a better close-up, but my dinosaur camera spazzed out on my last picture. I'll try to post a few better ones tomorrow when I put the ring weight on my update.

Wow, lobster!!! The last time I saw lobster tail was when I had my wife put on that mermaid outfit a few years ago.
