Unfortunately the one on the bottom is just being used for reference. The picture is from online. Mine is the weathered and less handsome one on the top.
No matter what it looks like, it's still a beautiful find Jeff.
If it were mine, I'd give it a short tumble in polished gravel and dish soap to remove some of the verdigris.
This will not damage the remaining enamel, but will clean up the details.
Here's a Canadian-made rad badge I found a few years ago, I straightened it, then tumbled it for restoration.
I ended up donating it to an automotive museum in my town, as it was made here in the early 1900s.
