Had a great time out hunting with my AT Max with a neat an old park in the small town next toe me and picked up a bunch of clad, 1 wheatie, 2 junk rings and one bent up 925 silver ring. Then hit a field near there and found a couple of buttons what I think is a big lead bullet and 3 points.

Great finds on the coinage and the rings, but what I really like are those Indigenous points.
One of the best investments I ever made when I started detecting was a ring mandrel, it's paid for itself many times over.
This is an interesting looking 'BENFORD' tag, is there anything on the back? :icon_scratch:

Found this online...

Benford, Texas
“So far, we have found very little information about Benford. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic. We've added Benford to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Benford - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Benford, please Contact Us. While we don't have the exact location of Benford, we believe that it would have been located within present day Polk County. If Benford still existed, it would have been in the (936) area code.”

No sir the back is slick. this is most likely a equipment tag or equipment chit as we call them at the local prison. They are used to check our radios, tools and keys. There are 6 prisons within 50 miles of where it was found.
