My hunting buddy and I have been trying to get on this property for 2 years. Every time we knocked no one was there. The other day I happened by and saw someone backing a car into the barn and I decided to try again. After some conversation and finding out it’s just a family estate with no one residing there I received permission to hunt the 105 acre property whenever I like. Well I thanked him and had about an hour til dark and I hit it. Nothing much for my first visit. Just an ihp and a zippo and some lead. Told my buddy about the permission and we made plans to meet there the next day at 3 pm. I found 3 KG2s and a few ihps. My buddy got 2 KGs and a merc. We met up again there today and the early US silver I knew had to be there decided to reveal itself. Six inches deep, it read a steady 21 on the Nox. Happy to have it! Also found a nice 1880 ihp, another couple KG2 and an 183? Matron largie, sterling earring and some buttons. Not much trash at this site but the soil has been pushed around especially by the house. Happy Hunting! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1573432095.546067.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1573432109.553716.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1573432134.864318.jpg

Wow what a great series of hunts! That draped bust halfdime is an outstanding find! I love the coppers but that would be my favorite one of the bunch!

Wow! Capped bust half dime. Man, those little coins can't be easy to find. I just found a Philippines 10 Centavos which I figured was the size of a half dime. Nope! It is bigger. I don't think I've ever held one of those tiny coins in my hand. Way to go!
