No need for a long drawn out post here. Picked up a '45 Washington Quarter at an older Church Parish Hall. Didn't quite get it finished, so I'll be going back next week. It's a silver though, and I'll take it, cause Winter is closing in.

It's a Silver all right. I found a 1964 Washington last weekend, and was happy to get it. Silver Quarters are becoming harder to find for me any more. Congrats!

Especially -That- silver. If you look closely at the first T in TRUST you should seee a doubled die, making thiat an 1945 DDO.

I don't give advice but if I were you, once I finished the plot I would rehit it again. When ever I find areas with old coins I hit it hard. It usually reaps more silver even after the first pass. Just sayin Nice find go get another!
