Great find for sure and they are pretty rare..
Was just thinking about this and to me i would be hunting old old rodeo grounds and other places cowboys hung out...Certain States had plenty of them. I was born in Montana but my parents moved to Oregon as my Ddad worked in the shipyards early in WW2..We went to Montana in 1950 to visit my uncle and Great Grandmother... i went with Uncle to one country store and i remember seeing those cartwheels.. So You folks that live in those Western States should be researching places there where stuff like that would be lost...

That's a beauty of a coin! I got my first dollar earlier this year and am still stoked. You'll remember that one for a long time!

My favorite coin! Did you think it was an aluminum can before you dug it?

I’m running Field 2 on the Nox 600. Recovery speed 2. Iron bias 0. Sensitivity where ever it’s comfortable. I also use 50 tones. I’ve been hunting off sound lately. You know when you have something really good because the tone is unmistakable. I also dig signals 7-12 that are consistent. On certain targets say copper tubing... it would ping say 30... then drop to 26. And it would appear scratchy. If it’s something good it’s normally really consistent. Again, this is from my experience. Hope this helps

Nice coin... sweet.
The two other pieces, whatever they are, could be used as display stand for your coin :hello2:
