My trips to Druid Hill Park in Baltimore City have been two-fold. For about the last five visits I've been collecting firewood (downed limbs from an oak tree). Made my final trip late this afternoon and then detected for an hour. Got three keepers: a brooch with clear and blue cut glass pieces, a fired round ball, and a 1909VDB wheat. I've dug a lot of wheats over the years but don't recall getting a 'VDB' before.

Nice ! I Like the square nail Punch. Gives it Personal Character/History
As said before Not heartbreaking since it is not a S Mint

Agreed! I'd be ok if it was an 'S' mint with the punch mark. Figure those things are hard enough to find in any condition.
