Hello,

I came across a friend having this mysterious Artifact Picture attached and below, Its magnetic but made of like Iron casting. Also looks like it has a place where can be screwed to open. Must be very old.
Please help to Identify this old thing.

The codes on the Product is "G 1904" engraved on it.

To add on, Along with this are other products. We cannot easily identify the content and we need expert.

Hard to tell from pics looks like a drain plug the firs one outdoor drain ?

very well noted,

The idea of the plug seems to secure certain fluid or element from escaping, vaporizing or coming out of the container " from my point of view.

Let me try finding more images !!!

Looks like some old industrial parts , especially the Westinghouse item, any old power plants or factories nearby?

The People owning those had found it abandoned on a construction site after digging down foundation. They thought to have been left quiet decades ago by German settlers due to the Code: G1904. You seem right arrow86! But looking at image 2 (covered in sack) , something strikes to me that it might be valuable substance of element inside due to its protection nature.
Finding Scanners and Ranger tell or sort of detectors to ease our find here is much expensive.

I will keep you posted.
