Bucket Lister Alert!!! Today was just totally awesome and exciting, it was much needed and it just really reminded me why I love this hobby. It’s been a long cpl months of working non stop and after the last 48 straight hours on rescue I was exhausted but knew what I really needed, a nice walk in the woods to free the mind from the world for a bit and let it wonder back into time. The views on the ride out when the sun got over the horizon were pretty mesmerizing to be honest, took the long country back roads to enjoy those a bit and really get that instinct vibe going, it led me to a place I had found a few years ago that is only swingable certain times of year due to overgrowth, but the ice literally pulled it all down and made some areas ideal that never could I get through before, using my footprints and dirt marks from digging targets it really helped me image a grid of targets, covered a lot of ground and dug every repeatable signal even if it was choppy, it paid off amazingly!!! Today’s top finds: B.L#1- 1735 “BRITANNIA” British Half Penny, B.L#2 17** Liberty Capped Large Cent “Lettered Edge Variety”, 1870 shield nickel, My first silver button hook?, tombac type dome button, big dandy button, musket ball, some other cool relics and your typical shotgun shells and bent square nails. Enjoy & HH!:headbang::hello2:

Seriously great finds- Congrats! You can see the Liberty cap very clearly- looks like if it you clean it you may lose it, but sweet find regardless..

I agree Bigmike- Nothing like a walk in the woods to clear the mind and soothe the soul. Congrats!

A great hunt indeed , I like the pipes the best .
I love to stop mid-hunt and sit under a tree for a while , a few sips from my flask while taking in nature and relaxing.
then back at it .
