I hit the beach, not much, so, I left and something told me to hit this closed bar... the parking lot is all lil pebbles.. which were making me nuts .... but..I was finding clad.. so I get a strong foil, 5 inches down, cussin, saying omg I know I am wasting my time in these rocks, and then I saw this chain, about an inch of it, I kept pullin n pullin and it kept comming n comming, I saw 925 on and stuck that bad boy in my pouch, so thrilled I found something so big and heavy and neat..well, I get home, its dirty...I clean it... go to look at the tag on it..which says 925 and on the other side it says tiffany & Co.. I dang near fell outta my chair, and I dont have a scale yet either but this I will tell ya, this bad boy is big and heavy and I am SO THILLED with my sorry A$$.... atta girl booty..

cute Ken, I also make my own jewelry but dang, I am so syked on this....I called hubby right away on the cell and said what I found and said, I will be home when its dark... I had a ball and was mad as hell it got dark.

man, I been a struggling hunting I tell ya... I am seriously pleased with my ole sorry self.

Really sweet chain and Tiffany to boot,high society for sure. This hobby seems to come and go like that,you look for many hours and find very little aside from coins then out of the blue,when you are least expecting it you make a great find that makes you more addicted than ever. I too have been hunting around a closed bar,trash everywhere.Was desperate for a hunt so I went there the other night in the dark during a cold windy rain and dug a shiney silver chain which I knew was sterling. When I got it home and cleaned it up and got a really good look at it I was stunned to see 14k on one of the clasps,was white gold. Keep up the fight and the hard work will payoff,HH...Shoot

thank you all..but honestly, I dont know if a real tiffany or bootleg one.... theres so many of em out there..but this sucker was like 5 inches deep... I checked their site and didnt see it..so am clueless...but, least its sterling right.

You know Girl, it's all about how much you go hunting, and research.

Have you looked at these maps?

Lots of old schools listed in your area. Find a town close and start looking. One room schools houses everywhere, and now it's farmland. Easy to get permission cause the farmers know you can't tear anything up.

some one drunk probably got mad at thier other half and threw it on the ground...
you never know the story behind that chain.
