    Today's Find 1-17-2020: Brooch.

Today I scratched up what I believe is a silver plated brooch. It weighs in at 9.5 grams and has no markings on it. My guess would be it originated in the mid-1800's.

I find myself in agreement with Hobbs and A2coins regarding the age of this object.

Oh my! That is amazing! How deep did you have to dig? Geez, do you find really cool things like that often?

Your age guess looks right but I wouldn't say it was a brooch.

Getting closer, I think, but it may have gone on leather.
