I went to one of the city parks the other day to swing the CZ21 for a few hours. Still grid searching a field and wanted to cover another chunk. In all I found 21 coins with a face value of $1.47, a .50 cal. slug, part of a victor Talking Machine company record player first made in 1901, a 1954 silver quarter and a Ford hub cap. The .50 cal does not have any rifling grooves so it was not fired. The Kelly Springfield Tire planet that used to be in a nearby town assembled ammunition during WW2 so this may be one brought home by a worker. (I have found .50 shell casing marked KS 43)

The hubcap is a style that was used from 1932-35 if my info is correct.

Since my last silver was a half dime the quarter is considerably bigger. Not nearly as nice, but bigger.

So again gas money and some interesting things to look up so I can tell what I have found and of course silver is always a plus. Thanks for looking and may your coil lead you to good things.

That's a heavy machine, but a very good one.

Do you take it swimming too?

It is relatively heavy, but an Anderson shaft makes it feel lighter and years of swingin it have made it easier so I donโ€™t notice the weight.

It used to go swimming with me a lot and I found a lot of gold and silver with it. A few years ago I got an ATPro and found it picks up the smaller gold earrings and even earring backs as well as the small silver. I do dig more foil, but things I air tested on the CZ and got nothing got a good response on the ATPro so now I use it in the water almost exclusively. (I do use the CZ in the water at the scout camp. It works better than the ATPro in those conditions.)

Thanks for the response and keep swingin.
