Found at a local swimming hole in a sandy part of the shallows. Was a little surprised to find something like this out there. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1579895782.315315.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1579895792.912082.jpg

Nice save! While I’ve pulled a Morgan and a Peace Dollar, can’t say I’ve yet to find a clad dollar... a couple beat up halves but never one of those... Congrats on a great find, I’m sure Ike rang up nice and high... a quick mental check showed that one is still hanging out on the bucket list... Ddf.

Nice! When I was growing up, the Apollo space missions were such a huge milestone for this country and for mankind. I remember how our astronauts were absolute rock star heros, and in spite of our troubles in Vietnam, Nasa gave us all incredible pride in America. I've always like the reverse design of the Ike dollar. Congrats on a great find. Not really worth so much in terms of money, but somewhat rare as a dug find. You don't see many posted at all.
