Hey folks!

Yesterday was my last chance to get out for the month and I didn’t want to exit January without finding silver.

Started off outside an old general store yesterday where I found a neat 5c trade token and a couple wheats.

I then made my way up to a friends house from the 1940s that was unfortunately a bust.

I made my way back to the general store area and decided to keep trying my luck. Thankfully I did!

Ended the day with a pretty good haul.

Here’s the tally:
-2 Mercs (41, 45-S)
-16 Wheats (oldest is 1928)
-Good for 5c Trade Token to Northwest Recreations Arcade
-2 Older Jefferson’s
-1952 KGVI Canadian Penny

Not a bad day at all. Hopefully February heats up, both literally and figuratively!

Good luck everyone,
W

You sure know how to find those coins! Just curious, overall do you think you find more coins in the backyards or the front? Thanks and good luck in 2020 with your silver totals!!

Thanks Tommy! I have a few of those trade tokens now. Always a fun and unique find. They are one of my favorite things to find nowadays!

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Thanks Randy!

Great finds, especially the token. 

Thank you, I'm thrilled with it!

Thanks so much!

Good question. It really depends on the orientation of the house. I would say in general, all things being equal, I find more in backyards but some places have tiny back yards and larger front yards. How about you?

Way to go. Looks like you had a stellar hunt. Nice silvers and that trade token is really cool. A big congrats.

Thank you John! In San Francisco for work this week with no detector but hopefully I can get out this weekend!

No idea Washingtonian. Sometimes the driveways are good sometimes near the front door sometimes in the back yard. Lots of places I hunt the houses are gone. It's best to cover it all. You sure find a lot of coins! Good luck if you make it out this weekend!!
