I guess I should have said nothing "Old":icon_scratch:. On my FIRST hunt today was with the Simplex+, and in an old local city park but nothing very old was found just 13-quarters, 12-dimes & 8 cents.

Then the SECOND search was in the local downtown Park Ave Parks and found an additional 8-quarters, 5-dimes & 3-cents for a total 49 coins for the day. However did find an old "track & field" MEDAL but there were no writing of any kind on the back - not even a makers mark.

WLB, we ALL have days like that... since I’ve moved to field hunting, there’s days that a clad coin would really make things interesting...some days are not much more than iron grunts and tractor parts...Like Tommy sez, that clad does add up, whether it’s coffee, gas, batteries or save it and buy your first good pinpointer like I did!
