A rare winter hunt with Spanish, W&M, and KGiii gaming tokens

Itís been quite a while since Iíve tuned into Tnet. I havenít been out hunting due to working away, putting family first, and just lifeís crap in general.

I decided to put some new life into an old site by digging out a pile resulting from a collapsed chimney. Iíve avoided it for quite a while but it was time to dig. Helping me were my two kiddos today. We had a great time, moved about a half ton of stone, and scored some keepers.

The first decent tone was turned out to be a 1/2 reale, 178X.

Then a few tokens popped out, after chasing some mid tones through the iron.

Hopefully Iíll get out a bit more now that life has settled out again. Iíll be doing a trip in March with my detecting group Basstards of Bramble. Maybe there will be something to post then.
Iíve dug quite a lot of good stuff early in the winter including lots of state coppers I never posted. Maybe Iíll make a recap post on a down day.

    Enjoy and good hunts,

    Steve

I bundled the coins with some fishing line, labels and dated them for when they ask about them in 20 years.
