Had a chance to revisit my new permission today. Dug mostly iron and a couple of vintage shotgun head stamps.
Had a clear 30-31 on the equinox, figured it was a quarter. Popped the plug and spotted a thick round ?. Too big for a Large Cent, too thick for most coppers.
Brushed the dirt off , 1913 Thomas Alva Edison token.

That's freakin cool I love tokens I have 2 of them good for 5 cents in trade funny there both the same token. That's a great find. Tommy
