Ok so I shattered My heal Feb 4th, and with My cast finally off and a sore foot I was able to swing the new 15โ€ coil that I got for My Equinox at an old Civil War Camp site. Got to swing for an hour and 15 minutes before My foot was telling Me to get off of it. Did pretty good I thought. Only 1 bullet was 8โ€, the others were closer to 12โ€. Great to get a hunt in! Thanks for looking. Happy Hunting!!!! B19B4E01-D043-4ED9-A6F2-46ADA4242F23.jpeg A59AD2EF-F5AA-4F18-8B62-8DB3BEFDB5BD.jpg 86F606D0-EBB4-4707-98A6-1023C7306355.jpeg

You did well for a short hunt. I love the teardrop bullets. The Equinox sure loves lead and brass. I really like the big coil myself for open fields, it is a great relic set up.

That sounds like a really tough injury to have... welcome back to finding some awesome stuff! My life goal is to find a genuine civil war 3 ringer!

Congrats! Nice bullets. I agree, the 15in coil is a lead magnet. Mine rings a 19-20 deep and I know itโ€™s a bullet. Hope that heel gets better!

Tommy, actually when it happened was the most that it hurt. Made me scream like a little girl for about 3 minutes with pain shooting up My calf and fire and needles at my heal. After that and until now, itโ€™s just felt like a severe bruise. Very blessed that the bone didnโ€™t shift or I would have had to have surgery. But all that aside, Iโ€™ve been so ready to detect, in my mind. I actually shouldnโ€™t have went out on it looking for bullets. Almost couldnโ€™t walk when I got done. Iโ€™ll stay off of it for a couple more weeks until I see the Doctor. Happy Hunting Everyone!!!!!
