Found this in New Caney, Texas. I was digging a metal detected target and found this in the same hole. When I picked it up, my fingers naturally griped into the notched out areas.
Your opinions please?

Looks like a hide scraper to me. I have found quite a few like that, where your thumb fits into the stone real nice.
