Very Old Button Says U.D.R.R.

Found this today! Actually I found it sometime last year and lost it, went back to the place I lost it and there it was about an inch under! Found in someone's back yard in south St. Louis. Anyway looks like a little gold gilt is visible, as well as very legible print on the back. Looks like a two-part button. Still need to research the U.D.R.R. to see what that means. Maybe a railroad uniform button? So happy I went back and found it, I thought it was gone for good.

Found a Ulster and Delaware Railroad, Catskill Mts., New York. Maybe?

Naw, I'm pretty sure it's a rare specimen of the Milkman brigade also known as the Udder Militia, circa 1867 I believe.

I would think Ulster and Delaware Railroad is correct, except I've only seen them as U&D RR.
