At least I'm going to assume its a Love Token. It is made of Copper, but is not a coin as there are no indications of a coin on the reverse. You may be able to see the letters PPA inscribed on the front, in Old English style lettering. There is not a hole in it either, so it must have been carried in a pocket or handbag. It was found in the yard of a home that was built in 1910 and has been in the same family since 1950. No one in the family had these initials. The 1985 Graduation key was found in a different yard.

It is blank and smooth pepperj. That is why I don't think it's a coin. It was probably fashioned out of a piece of scrap copper. The "Old English" style lettering, is what makes me think it was made as a Love token. I forgot to mention in my original post, that it was found in the yard of a home that was built in 1910. The home has been in the same family (only 2 different owners) since 1950, and no one that lived there had these initials.

That coin / token may have been a railroad track flattened penny.
The senior item may have been a graduation hat tassle holder

Congrats on your finds
