We have pretty much settled in on our favourite of the 6 Bonus Fields. This field was always a field & is within the administrative boundary of my Roman Town. Our aim is to get a hammered every outing which we just managed on this Saturday's hunt before we got rained off at the 4.5 hour point.

Whats left of a Roman Coin. This field doesn't hold them up well!

Looks like something I've dug.:laughing7:
Buddy lamented out in the fields one time "I don't get why everyone gets so excited about one of those cruddy Romans-give me a hammered or :censored:greenie any day!"
I hear you on the soils doing the Romans in.

Always fun to puruse your finds over a cup of coffee in the morning Crusader. Great collection of finds. You always uncover some fantastic items.
