    Is it worth a million lol I wish. I used to look at these in my coin book as a kid a dream of finding one never thought I would taken over 20 years and tens of thousands of holes. Don't know if I could ever part with it.

    Wow, one of the oldest of old American silver absolutely stellar find, I can't even imagine. Glad it hit the banner right away for many of us this is the holy grail. What a beautiful coin congratulations!

    I would only get it slabbed to affirm it is genuine. You already know it is genuine, but if you wanted to sell it, a buyer would prefer it slabbed. It would likely come back as "cannot be graded due to environmental damage" - basically what happens to all dug coins. If I found it, I would keep it as-is, but if it went into an estate, would be easier to liquidate if slabbed. I assume that my dug coins are either genuine, or in the case of some coppers, contemporary counterfeits. Either way, I see no value to myself to affirm what I already know.
