No only the war nickles have silver in them.They are easy to spot because the mint mark is large and above the building on the back.The years they were made is 1942 through 1945 and they were 35% silver.

Nice pocket change find. Like Fyrffytr1, I keep any Nickels minted before 1960. They are not valuable, (except for the silver War Nickels), but they are fun to find in change just because they are an older coin still in circulation.
